Position: System Engineer / System Admin

PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

1. Windows Server – Installation, Administration, Management & Deployment using monitoring tools.
2. Active Directory Domain & User Management, Application management using scripts (automation).
3. Networking – Design, Setup, Configuration and management of networking devices.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Installing or upgrading Windows systems and servers.
2. Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.
3. Providing technical support for staff and back-end system users.
4. Troubleshooting system and server errors.
5. Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.
6. Managing user access controls across applications (IIS, SQL Servers, Git, Jenkins etc.).
7. Monitoring & maintaining performance, security & stability of the servers.
8. Creating system backups (Automation).
9. Remote application and patch deployment using AD services or Scripts.
10. IT Equipment & Inventory management.
11. Troubleshooting network related issues.
12. VPN configuration and management.
13. Installation and configuration of the networking devices.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: Candidate must be willing to work from the office and in rotational night shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. B.E or B.Sc., or BCA or MCA or any Science graduation.
2. IT Certifications from Microsoft or CompTIA such as MCP, MCSA.
3. CCNA Certification & Knowledge on Linux Servers, Containers (Dockers) will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of proven work experience in Windows Server Administration & Networking.
