The Staff Software Engineer (User Interface) will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining reusable UI components and services that power the PlanOS platform. PlanOS is GE Vernova’s next-generation energy planning platform, designed to support utilities and system operators in making data-driven, future-ready decisions for grid reliability, resource adequacy, and decarbonization strategies. This role involves working primarily on web-based UI design systems using the React Javascript Framework and backend services using Python. The developer will be responsible, in conjunction with the PlanOS UI/UX Design and Devlopment team, for the full software development lifecycle — including requirement analysis, documentation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance — with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and usability.
