Job summary

Arm Limited is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in the Infrastructure Solutions Software team within the CE-SW group. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with responsibility for leading and developing a team of test engineers, focusing on system-level validation and test strategy across pre-silicon and silicon environments.

You will drive automation, collaborate across software, firmware and hardware, and ensure high-quality delivery for Arm's infrastructure platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software testing and system-level validation for SoC, firmware, platform software or embedded systems.
• Experience leading and developing engineers, with strong technical leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of test methodologies, automation, CI and regression testing.
• Experience using test coverage, quality metrics and defect management to drive quality.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and communication skills across software, firmware and hardware.

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer in the Infrastructure Solutions Software team in our CE-SW group. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with responsibility for leading and developing a team of test engineers. The focus will be on driving system-level validation and quality for our infrastructure platforms, developing effective test strategies and automation, and ensuring high-quality delivery across pre-silicon and silicon environments.

Responsibilities:

You will:

Required Skills and Experience :

• Strong experience in software testing and system-level validation for SoC, firmware, platform software or embedded systems.

• Experience using test coverage, quality metrics and defect management to drive quality.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

• Knowledge of server-class SoCs, including RAS, power management, PCI Express (PCIe), Compute Express Link (CXL), memory and virtualization.
• Familiarity with the Linux kernel, Trusted Firmware-A (TF-A), UEFI EDK II, OpenBMC or Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM).
• Experience with automated system validation, hardware test environments, server farms or continuous integration infrastructure.
