Job summary

Securonix Bengaluru, India, seeks a Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years in Java/Python to design and deliver scalable cybersecurity applications.

You will collaborate with product owners and architects, write clean code, lead complex solutions, mentor developers, and stay current with trends in AI-enabled security, microservices, and cloud platforms. This role offers growth and impact in a fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java/Python and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with SQL and database systems, such as MySQL, MariaDB
• Good Knowledge on AI Tools & Agent Integration Experience.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD development lifecycle. Hands-on experience with GIT version control(Github/Bitbucket/GitLab).
• Experience with Java build tools, such as Maven or Gradle
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
• Experience with testing frameworks and libraries, such as JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Willingness to upskill in Laravel/PHP, IaC, SaaS Environment concepts and queue-based architecture.

• Oversee and mentor a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product managers, security analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in cybersecurity, integrating new tools and techniques into development processes as appropriate.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and API documentation.
