Job summary

RapidAI is seeking an experienced software engineering leader to drive scalable, AI-powered healthcare platforms in Bengaluru. You will guide architecture, coding practices, and DevOps to deliver reliable systems across teams.

The role requires 10+ years in software development with demonstrated leadership, strong communication, and the ability to align technical work with business goals in a global environment. You will manage multiple scrum teams and mentor engineers to shape product lines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development/engineering and demonstrated leadership.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Taking the microservices architecture to the next level of scalability, efficiency, observability, and availability.
• Creating platforms, reusable libraries, and utilities wherever applicable.
• Writing high-quality code that is modular, functional, and testable.
• Establishing the best coding practices.
• Ability to understand, document and analyze business processes and create process flow diagrams, designing automation solution, talk to stakeholder and implementing solution.
• Troubleshoot issues effectively in a distributed architecture.
• Communicate, collaborate and work effectively in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Defining, creating, and providing oversight and governance of engineering and design solutions with a focus on end-to-end automation, simplification, resilience, security, performance, scalability and reusability
• Working within a platform or feature team along with software engineers to design and engineer complex software, scripts, and tools to enable the delivery of bank platforms, applications and services, acting as a point of contact for solution design considerations
• Defining and developing architecture models and roadmaps of application and software components to meet business and technical requirements, driving common usability across products and domains
• Designing, producing, testing, and implementing the working code, along with applying Agile methods to the development of software with the use of DevOps techniques
• Ensure the engineering team understands the business direction and how each individual engineer’s work contributes towards the big picture of the product line and company offerings
• This position does not have direct reports.
• Perform any other related activites assigned by reporting manager.
