Job summary

ServiceNow is hiring a Staff Full Stack Developer to build and scale AI-powered development tools. You will work at the intersection of UI, backend, and AI-driven engineering to enhance developer experience and platform capabilities.

Responsibilities include designing AI-driven tooling, building core web stacks, and driving engineering standards across teams, with a focus on scalable microservices on Kubernetes and enterprise-grade APIs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience building scalable, high-quality applications.
• Hands-on proficiency using AI tools (Copilot, Claude, or similar) in day-to-day development work is a must
• Experience with REST, JSON, AJAX, and relational databases
• Experience driving architecture and engineering standards at a team or division level
• Strong critical thinking and a track record of integrating AI into engineering processes, workflows, or decision-making
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and strong product sense
• BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Backend development experience with Java is an added advantage
• ServiceNow platform certification and/or development experience is a strong added advantage

• A constant thirst for learning and willingness to work outside your comfort zone
• Backend development experience with Java is an added advantage
• ServiceNow platform certification and/or development experience is a strong added advantage
