Ping Identity in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Android to shape major Android SDKs and drive high-quality mobile experiences. You will design end-to-end features, set architectural direction, and collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and QA to deliver scalable solutions.
You have 10+ years of Android experience, strong Kotlin and Jetpack skills, and a proven ability to lead complex projects while mentoring teammates.

Staff Software Engineer, Android
You’ll be a staff technical engineer on our mobile team, owning major parts of our Android SDKs and shaping how we build, ship, and maintain high-quality mobile experiences. This is a hands‑on role focused on designing and delivering scalable, reliable Android features while partnering closely with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and other stakeholders. You’ll set technical direction for Android architecture, drive best practices across the codebase, and help the team move faster with better tooling and foundations. You’ll be expected to deliver complex work end‑to‑end, from discovery and design to implementation, release, and iteration based on real user feedback. You’ll report to an engineering manager and collaborate with other engineers to align mobile strategy with broader platform goals.
