N-able Technologies Ltd. seeks an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to Cove Data Protection on AWS. You will design, develop, test, and maintain SaaS software using C# and .NET Core in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of software development experience, strong OO design, and proficiency with SQL Server, Docker, and Kubernetes in a cloud setup (AWS). This role offers growth in a dynamic cybersecurity-focused team.

Qualifications

• 10–14 years of professional software development experience using C# and .NET Core (versions 6-8).
• Strong OO design, patterns, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, or Blazor and relational databases (SQL Server).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using C#, .NET Core and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and DevOps to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Work with Architects to design services and write clean, well‑documented code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Participate in monthly release responsibilities and contribute to continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

Role Overview: We are looking for a Software Engineer with 11–14 years of experience to contribute to the development of features for a SaaS product hosted on AWS—Cove Data Protection, the flagship offering from N‑able in the cybersecurity domain. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using C# and the .NET Core framework. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative solutions in a collaborative and fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using C#, .NET Core and related technologies
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps to define and deliver high‑quality software solutions
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Work with the Architects to designing the services
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code following industry best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Participate in monthly release responsibilities
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

Must-Have Skills:

• 10–14 years of professional experience in software development using C# and .NET Core (versions 6-8)
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and software development principles
• Good understanding of middleware used in .NET core.
• Experience with web technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, Web API, or Blazor
• Proficiency in working with SQL Server or other relational databases
• Good understanding with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Hands on Experience with cloud‑based applications (Azure or AWS)
• Hands on Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of unit testing and test‑driven development
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices
