• Healthcare domain or medical device software experience is a plus.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of robust, scalable, and secure software applications for medical imaging, diagnostics, and healthcare IT platforms.
• Collaborate with product management, clinical experts, and cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements, architecture, and technical specifications for new features and products.
• Drive technical excellence and best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects and performance issues in production environments.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve development processes and product capabilities.
• Contribute to technical documentation, design specifications, and architectural diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, HIPAA) and internal quality processes.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in software development, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software products.
• Expert proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C++, Java, Python, Angular) and experience with object-oriented design and development.
• Good experience in working with container based applications.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
• Prior experience in the healthcare domain or with medical device software development is a significant plus.
