Our Human Fabric Team is looking for a well-rounded Staff Software Development Engineer in Test with a proven record of ensuring the delivery of scalable microservice based solutions to enterprise clients. Capable of driving several projects to completion from a QA perspective. A skilled technician that can also serve as a mentor to the team. A visionary that delivers recommendations on how to evolve testing best practices within the organization that solve today’s problems with the future direction of product testing in mind.
You will join our globally disperse engineering team but be supported by engineers based in Pune. We are a results-driven, highly collaborative group passionate about delivering high-impact identity security solutions. Our team develops and tests enterprise products built on a mature, cloud-native, event-driven microservices architecture hosted in AWS. We value individual ownership, teamwork, continuous learning, and technical craftsmanship, providing an environment where your contributions directly shape your product quality.
30 days: Complete engineering onboarding, set up your local development and testing environments, and build an understanding of SailPoint's product capabilities and microservices architecture. Shadow team members on existing testing workflows and execute initial test cases within sprint cycles. 60 days: Take ownership of test planning and validation for assigned feature areas. Develop detailed manual and automated test cases covering functional, regression, and integration scenarios, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. 90 days: Independently drive testing activities across complex microservices features. Partner proactively with development teams to reproduce and triage defects, analyze test metrics, and ensure comprehensive test coverage across supported operating systems and database environments. 6 months: Champion automated testing best practices, reduce test execution cycle times, and optimize test harness reliability. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management and Engineering leadership to align testing strategy with product delivery goals. 1 year: Serve as a subject matter expert for product test engineering and automation frameworks. Drive continuous quality improvements, establish testing standards for new platform capabilities, and mentor team members across the organization.
