We are looking for a Staff Software Development Engineer to come help manage digital risk by applying security through identity integration and controls. The Identity & Access Management Engineer is a member of the Identity Access & Management team, reporting to an Identity & Access Management Team Leader. You will build workflows and application integrations as coordinated with the larger IAM team, Product Management and Business teams.

This role will be reporting to the Sr. Director, Engineering and you'll be responsible for:

• Leading the development of identity management products for Zscaler
• Participating in the design and implementation of core product functionality and key technical initiatives
• Collaborating with team members to maintain a positive working culture

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• 7+ years of experience in developing large-scale commercial networking applications with degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Expert-level knowledge in Enterprise Java, OOP, OOA, systems architecture, RESTful APIs, frameworks like Hibernate and Spring, and CI/CD tools and processes
• Experience with SQL and Postgres
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, including HTTP, SSL/TLS, and TCP/IP
• Experience in the complete software development lifecycle

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management protocols like OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, Federation, and SSO will be preferred
• Knowledge about Docker/Kubernetes and container infrastructure would be a plus
