About the Role

Fivetran is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team and help build the future of the Fivetran Data Platform Reliability. You will work closely with engineering, product, support, and sales teams.

As a member of the Site Reliability Engineering team, you will own the performance and reliability of Fivetran’s infrastructure, the robustness of the deployment pipeline, and timely incident response.

Technologies You’ll Use

• Managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE)
• Cloud Platforms and tooling: AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Ansible, Buildkite, Pulumi, ArgoCD
• Python/Shell scripting (Java, Go optional)
• Linux operating system internals and administration
• Cloud networking (VPNs, Privatelinks, Private Service Connect)
• Databases such as PostgreSQL

Responsibilities

• Maintain reliability and robustness of production infrastructure by monitoring availability, capacity, and throughput.
• Enhance systems by integrating reliability features into the product roadmap.
• Prioritize or fix critical bugs for support or sales as needed.
• Recommend improvements to production infrastructure to ensure 100% availability.
• Deploy scalable artifacts to all environments through automation scripts.
• Monitor and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities in collaboration with the security team.

• Working knowledge of managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
