Responsibilities

Join MaxLinear and you will work closely with a world‑class team of IC designers to design high‑performance ICs with RF, analog, mixed‑signal, and digital systems integrated on a single chip.

In This Role, You Will Focus On

• Lead design, implementation, and verification of critical sub‑blocks of a major subsystem like Rx, Tx, and PLL
• Characterize and debug relevant blocks and systems
• Analyze the effects of non‑idealities on circuit performance
• Report the results of design, analysis, and evaluation

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of RF/mixed‑signal circuits and high‑speed SerDes subsystems with ability to drive topology choices
• In‑depth understanding of mixed‑signal circuit blocks such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs
• Solid understanding of CMOS process and device physics
• Working knowledge of RF/analog layout techniques; familiarity with FINFET layout is a must
• Hands‑on experience testing your own designs in the lab and defining production test requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• (Required) BE/ME/MS in Electrical Engineering with at least 4 years of experience in RF/Analog/Mixed‑signal design or PhD in Electrical Engineering
