Job summary

Nextenti Tech in Tamil Nadu, Chengalpattu, is seeking a qualified nurse to provide comprehensive care across General, ICU, and CCU units. You will perform patient assessments, administer medications, monitor vitals, and maintain meticulous documentation as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires ability to manage IV therapy, wound care, and patient/family education while responding promptly to emergencies and ensuring safety and quality in all procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in General, ICU, and CCU departments.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine care needs and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses, ensuring adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
• Deliver critical care nursing to patients requiring intensive monitoring and interventions.
• Monitor and record vital signs, promptly identifying and responding to any changes in patient condition.
• Manage wound care, including dressing changes and infection prevention, while educating patients on proper wound management.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge procedures to promote understanding and compliance.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing immediate care and stabilization as needed.
• Perform intravenous therapy, including starting and maintaining IV lines, and ensure correct fluid and medication administration.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, ensuring all records are up to date and comply with hospital policies.
