Job summary

Qualifacts in Vadodara, India is seeking an experienced AWS networking engineer to design, implement, and maintain complex cloud and on‑prem networking. The role requires hands-on work with VPCs, VPNs, Direct Connect, and hybrid connectivity across multiple accounts and locations.

You will manage load balancers, CDN, WAF, DNS, and security policy configurations, monitor performance with observability tools, and collaborate with security/compliance teams to meet HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of load balancers, CDN, DNS, and edge security policies.
• HIPAA compliance awareness and security best practices.

This is an onsite position, 5 days/week, in the Vadodara office working the NIGHT SHIFT. Hours are 6:30pm-3:30am IST. Remote applicants will not be considered.

Design, implement, and maintain AWS networking: VPCs, Transit Gateway, peering, routing, security groups, and NACLs across multiple AWS accounts and organizations. Operate hybrid connectivity between on-premises datacenters and AWS, including site-to-site VPN and AWS Direct Connect. Manage datacenter network infrastructure in colocation facilities (e.g., Equinix): switching, routing, firewalls, SDWAN, cabling standards, and cross-connects. Support datacenter migration and expansion projects, including network design, equipment staging, cutover planning, and post-move validation. Administer load balancers, including SSL/TLS certificate requests, CSR generation, installation, and renewals. Manage CDN, WAF, and edge security policies (e.g., Akamai), and DNS configuration. Monitor network performance and availability using observability tools (e.g., New Relic, Solarwinds) and respond to alerts and incidents. Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and routing issues across cloud and on-premises environments, and lead root-cause analysis. Execute changes during scheduled maintenance windows following change management processes. Maintain network documentation: diagrams, IP address plans, runbooks, and configuration standards. Work with security and compliance teams to keep the network aligned with HIPAA and internal security requirements. Support new AWS initiatives and projects by helping design, deploy, and operate cloud workloads, including architecture, security, and cost considerations. Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and AWS support on cases, quotes, and service changes.
