Job summary

Palo Alto Networks in Bengaluru is seeking a skilled software engineer to join our AI-focused product teams. You will build AI-driven applications, integrate LLMs and tools, and craft scalable full‑stack solutions across React, APIs, back-end services, and data pipelines.

We expect 3–5 years of software engineering experience, strong knowledge of Java/Kotlin/Python/Node.js, and hands-on work with cloud platforms and distributed systems.

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Java, Kotlin, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience building production apps using LLMs, prompt engineering, or tool calling.
• Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
• Understanding of event-driven architectures, APIs, messaging, and data pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Integrate LLMs, tools, APIs, business rules, and data into production workflows

• Contribute to architecture, code reviews, testing, observability, and reliability

Qualifications

Your Experience

Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Kotlin, Python, or Node.js
• Experience building production applications using LLMs, prompt engineering, or tool calling
• Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems
• Understanding of event-driven architectures, APIs, messaging, and data pipelines
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience building AI agents or agent-based workflows
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, or semantic search
• Experience applying AI to marketing, sales, or GTM workflows
• Understanding of enterprise security, privacy, and data governance
• Experience improving system scalability, reliability, or developer productivity
