Job summary

Extreme Networks in Bengaluru is seeking a highly skilled engineer to develop and maintain platform infrastructure for networking products. You will implement and optimize Linux IP stack components, debug device drivers, and integrate PHY drivers across multiple interfaces.

The role involves work on platform framework with virtualization and container support, and contributing to Linux OS integration for platform requirements.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of Linux IP stack, TCP/IP protocols, and network stack optimization.
• Deep expertise in embedded systems, bootloaders (U-Boot, ONIE, UEFI/BIOS), and low-level system programming.
• Advanced proficiency with Linux device drivers (FPGA/CPLD, I2C, SPI, MMC/SD, PCI, USB, SATA).
• Expert knowledge of BMC, IPMI, and baseboard management architectures.
