Job summary

Saarthee is seeking a Staff Engineer – Java to lead architecture decisions for high-scale distributed backend services. You will drive engineering best practices, mentor teams, and deliver secure, scalable platforms while remaining hands-on with prototyping and debugging.

The role requires 10+ years in backend engineering, solid Java/Spring Boot expertise, and experience with AWS, microservices, and CI/CD. A strong design sense and familiarity with Agile methodologies are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in backend engineering.
• Strong expertise in Java (11+), Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud, NoSQL databases, RDBMS, and caching techniques.
• Proven experience designing and scaling high‑volume, distributed systems.
• Strong skills in system design, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins.
• Good knowledge of additional programming languages like Go or Python is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities, debugging skills, and communication skills.
• Prior experience in payments domain is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
