Job summary

PowerToFly in India (Gurgaon) seeks a seasoned software developer to build web, desktop and cloud apps using .NET Core, Angular, React, Node.js and Python frameworks. You will translate requirements into design and contribute to UI/UX and testing.

Collaborate with a global R&D team, select technologies for cloud-native environments, and document features across subsystems. Requires 4–11 years of relevant experience and strong OOAD, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript and C# skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4–11 years of Web, Cloud and desktop software development and testing.
• Proficiency in OOAD, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript and C#.
• Knowledge of XML/JSON and databases like MySQL/SQL Server/MongoDB/NoSQL.
• Cloud technologies: Azure/AWS/GCP; AWS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

What you will do:

• Development of Web, desktop and cloud software applications using .NET Core, Angular, REACT, Nodejs, Python frameworks.
• Work on UI/UX design element to implement functional and appealing user interfaces. Unit Testing, Static and Dynamic Analysis.
• Understand Software and System requirements and perform code and document reviews.
• Translate requirements into design to develop and document features across subsystems.
• Work with multi-disciplinary team and global R&D group including System Engineers, developers and global peers to create design strategy.
• Perform selection, evaluation, and implementation of software technologies, tools, and frameworks in a cloud, cloud-native (AWS, Azure), cloud enabled environment.

What you need:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4-11 years of experience in Web, Cloud and desktop application software development and testing.
• Proficiency in Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), Angular, TypeScript, Javascript & C#
• Knowledge of data formats such as XML, JSON and databases MySQL/SQL Server, MongoDB, NoSQL etc.
• Cloud technologies experience (Design, Development, Deployment and maintenance) with cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS/GCP. Experience with AWS is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, Git and dynamic/static memory analysis tools. Practice and knowledge of Agile Scrum or DevOps.
• Knowledge and experience on mobile technologies and platforms.
• Knowledge and experience in Regulatory and compliance standards similar to IEC62304, HIPAA Data Privacy, FIPS is a Plus
