Overview

Job title (as posted): Data Scientist / ML Engineer, with experience in Python and end-to-end ML solutions.

Responsibilities

• Writing and reviewing high-quality code.
• Understanding functional requirements and client needs within the project context.
• Envisioning and defining the overall solution, including technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
• Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets.
• Coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities to enable application development.
• Leading or supporting UAT and production rollouts.
• Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for modules/tasks and justifying estimates.
• Addressing issues promptly and maintaining a mindset of continuous improvement.
• Giving constructive feedback and setting clear expectations for team members.
• Helping the team troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs.
• Proposing solutions during code/design reviews and justifying decisions.
• Carrying out POCs to verify that suggested designs/technologies meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Total experience: 7+ years.
• Strong working experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with the DS/ML stack (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Working experience in SQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data handling and ML workflows (Google Cloud preferred).
• Experience in building microservice APIs for ML solutions.
• Exposure to model monitoring technologies.
• Experience deploying ML solutions at scale (Kubeflow, Vertex AI, Airflow, PySpark).
• Proficiency with data visualization libraries (matplotlib, seaborn, plotly, etc.).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across global teams.
