Job Responsibilities

1. Process and Continuous Improvement
   Drive the strategy for R1 RCM’s IT Asset Management (Hardware and Software) practice. Create partnerships with IT Platform Owners, End user support, ITSM, Sourcing and other relevant areas within/outside of IT. Ensure quality control through the lifecycle of IT assets by developing and implementing appropriate procedures to track and manage the IT Assets. Safeguard a detailed inventory of hardware and software assets and apply the information gathered to enable immediate corrective action on vulnerabilities, strengthen policy/governance, support audits, understand the software spend and manage end of life/end of services risk avoidance. Maintain the IT asset capability to empower the organization to better manage the lifecycle of hardware and software across R1. Support audit activities that may arise.
2. Technology Acumen
   Drive features and functionality on the IT Asset Management capability (ServiceNow) to enable the IT Asset Management Processes and show the value to continue to scale and mature the services. Create and maintain governance and support the interdependencies between ITAM (IT Asset Management), APM (Application Portfolio Management) and CMDB (Configuration Management Database) across R1’s ServiceNow platform.
3. Reporting, Dashboard and Audits
   Generate and distribute various reports, including compliance reports on current assets. Identify savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing and services.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or Project Management (or equivalent years of training, work experience and education)
2. 5+ years management experience to include: Implementing new processes and functions within an IT organization
3. Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
4. Proven ability to effectively drive change
5. 4+ years of hands-on IT Asset Management (hardware and software) experience in large complex organizations
6. Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow technology and ITAM module
7. Strong technical and ITIL service management background
8. Demonstrate visible leadership and exhibit R1 leadership expectations.
9. Build Strong relationship across IT and our business units
10. Grow and develop the team by attracting, retaining, and developing talent through training, education, and mentoring.

Additional Qualifications

1. Strong business acumen and ability to understand the larger company strategy
2. Demonstrated ability to understand complex ideas and interdependencies
3. Managing complex projects and technical teams
4. Excellent presentation and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
5. Track record of using quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize decision-making
6. Lean practitioner certifications or training, as well as applicable experience in Continuous Improvement
7. ITIL practitioner/Agile practitioner
