Job description

We are seeking an experienced Staff Data Scientist to lead the development and implementation of advanced data initiatives, including generative AI and agentic AI solutions. You will collaborate closely with business teams, product managers, data engineers, and analysts to deliver actionable insights and drive product-focused objectives. This role involves designing end-to-end AI pipelines, optimizing models, deploying solutions with CI/CD practices, and ensuring operational reliability. You will also influence product roadmaps, manage stakeholder expectations, and mentor teams to maximize impact.

Accountabilities

• Design, implement, and optimize GenAI and multi-agent AI workflows, including RAG pipelines, leveraging platforms such as AWS Bedrock and Databricks
• Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy models, establish CI/CD pipelines, and ensure model tracking and observability
• Detect and address model drift, hallucinations, and safety guardrail failures to maintain operational integrity
• Plan and manage the roadmap for data engineering and science initiatives aligned with business objectives
• Lead scrum ceremonies, triage requests, assign tasks, and coordinate across cross-functional teams
• Track team performance metrics and provide feedback to business and product stakeholders
• Identify and resolve challenges in data ingestion, analysis, and model deployment processes

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development or machine learning, with at least 2 years as a Product Owner or Data Lead
• Hands‑on experience with LangGraph or similar frameworks for multi‑agentic AI workflows
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering, RAG pipeline design, and LLM fine‑tuning techniques
• Experience with evaluating GenAI models using quantitative and qualitative metrics
• Strong knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark, SparkML, Hadoop, and cloud platforms like AWS
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a solid grasp of ML/DS inferencing and end-to-end data pipelines
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring data scientists and guiding cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced, scaling environments
