Job summary

Dew Software, Inc. is seeking a senior backend architect to design and implement scalable distributed systems in a high-performance environment. The role focuses on leading teams, crafting microservices in Go, Python, or Java, and leveraging Spark, Airflow, and cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate will mentor staff engineers and drive architectural decisions across Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Snowflake, and Databricks within a large-scale data-driven setup.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable backend systems.
• Experience with distributed services in high-performance environments.
• Expertise with Spark and Airflow in Big Data environments.
• Proficient in Go, Python, or Java for microservices development.
• Hands-on with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams (Staff Tech Lead).
• Ability to design complex distributed systems.
