Job Description – Solution Lead – EPS Planning & AI Enablement (BY COE)
Lead the transformation to a cognitive, AI‑driven supply chain by integrating planning (IBP) and execution (SCE) into a unified, closed‑loop decisioning ecosystem.
Role Overview
This role will drive end‑to‑end supply chain transformation across Planning (IBP) and Execution within the Blue Yonder COE, focusing on Cognitive Business Planning (CBP) adoption, AI/GenAI‑enabled decision intelligence, and tight integration between planning and execution layers.
Key Responsibilities
- EPS Planning Transformation & Delivery
- Lead BY‑based planning solutions across Demand, Pre‑solve, Supply, Writebacks, Scenario Planning, New product planning, FNE and NGOP.
- Drive migration to CBP‑enabled cognitive planning platform for all applications.
- Enable real‑time plan adjustments aligned to execution signals.
- Simplify planning landscape focusing on AI adoption for user productivity, Process Standardization, and Solver reliability.
- SCE (Supply Chain Execution) Integration & Optimization – NEW
- Design and implement closed‑loop planning → execution integration with planning outputs to execution systems (order promising, order fulfillment, production execution, Resource Capacity, inventory) and execution feedback for near‑real‑time planning adjustments.
- Lead capabilities across SCE domains: Order promising / ATP / CTP; Supply management & deployment; Manufacturing & supply execution alignment; Materials planning; Logistics & fulfillment visibility.
- Ensure tight integration between BY planning systems, ERP (S/4) (To‑Be), Execution platforms (ECC), and Data lake & Reporting (Snowflake).
- Build execution‑aware planning: real‑time exception detection, decision prioritization frameworks, and intelligent response orchestration across planning and execution.
- CBP (Cognitive Business Planning) Enablement
- Drive roadmap execution for Heritage SaaS → CBP Cognitive Platform.
- Enable real‑time simulations, multi‑domain agent‑based planning, and unified planning + execution data models.
- Prepare ecosystem for agentic execution‑aware planning (Assist → Autonomous).
- AI / GenAI Adoption Across Planning & Execution
- Identify and deploy AI use cases in planning (demand‑supply gap analysis, solver diagnostics, explainability) and execution (order promising, exception resolution, order prioritization, delay prediction).
- Drive adoption of AI assistants for planners & execution teams and autonomous response capabilities.
- Focus on AI that improves decision latency across planning and execution.
- Data, Platform & Architecture Modernization
- Drive EPS architecture toward AI‑ready unified data ecosystem: Snowflake as single source of truth; Integrated planning + execution data models.
- Enable real‑time data ingestion from execution systems, event‑driven architecture for decision‑making, and simplify integrations across BY, ERP, and execution platforms.
- Align vendor roadmap (BY) with Micron priorities: CBP and AI enablement.
Required Skills & Experience
- Core Functional Expertise
- Strong experience in Supply Chain Planning (S/OP, Demand/Supply planning, Order promising) and good exposure to Supply Chain Execution (Order management, Inventory, Fulfillment, Logistics).
- Experience with Blue Yonder (planning + execution modules preferred); exposure to Kinaxis is an added advantage.
- EPS Roadmap & CBP Skills (Critical)
- Experience in planning transformation programs and CBP/cognitive planning platforms.
- Understanding of agent‑based planning and execution, scenario simulation and orchestration.
- AI / GenAI Capabilities
- Experience in AI/ML use cases in planning & execution; predictive and prescriptive analytics; AI agents, copilots, automation.
- Ability to translate AI into operational decisions.
- Data & Technology Skills
