Senior Accountant – Finance & Accounts

Location: 2pm to 11pm IST

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the assigned region in compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally regarding global compliance, including VAT, sales tax, and transfer pricing documentation.
• Contribute to monthly analysis performed to support financial package reporting.
• Communicate with 3rd party accounting vendors to ensure completeness and accuracy of all Trial Balances.
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 3-7 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and local financial regulations.
• Proficiency in large ERP systems (Great Plains, Oracle, Essbase, and Workday).
• Strong analytical, multi-tasking, communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent in Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Experience in the software or technology industry preferred.
