Position

Armanino India LLP, a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino (USA), is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team. This role reports to the Accounting Manager or Controller and supports month‑end close, expense reporting, and general accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the expense report process for the firm, including responding to questions, ensuring workflow is processed as expected, and reviewing reports for accurate accounting.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and participate in the month‑end close process.
• Reconcile cash clearing accounts, including accounts payable and payroll activity.
• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis and document variances.
• Adhere to organizational procedures and policies.
• Respond to information requests and assist with internal audits.
• Prepare and provide financial and analytical information as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve month‑end close process, cost‑cutting initiatives, and expense trend analysis.
• Perform special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager or Controller.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• High business ethics, teamwork, ambition, communication skills, and coachability.
• Career‑focused goals and the work ethic to achieve them.
• CA or CPA candidate is desirable.
• Proficiency in Workday preferred, but not required.
