Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting experience, preferably combining public and corporate environments.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements, with exposure to Ind AS and Indian GAAP.
• Understanding of financial close processes, reconciliations, audits, and internal control frameworks.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Workday and/or BlackLine, plus data-driven automation to improve operations.

Work Schedule

• This role supports customers and stakeholders primarily during U.S. business hours.
• Expected working hours are 11:00 AM to 08:00 PM IST, with occasional flexibility required to support collaboration with U.S.-based teams and business needs.
• Participation in after‑hours support rotations and select holiday coverage may be required based on product, region, or business needs.

What You’ll Do

• Own daily cash accounting activities and support month‑end close processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and complete financial reporting across the organization.
• Drive process improvements through automation, standardization, and the use of technology to increase efficiency, scalability, and data quality.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to maintain the integrity of financial records.
• Analyze financial data and reporting for accuracy, reasonableness, and compliance, including information used in external reporting and regulatory filings.
• Partner closely with finance, treasury, and global accounting teams to ensure accurate accounting for cash transactions and facilitate effective cross‑functional collaboration.
• Support internal and external audit activities by preparing documentation, responding to requests, and helping strengthen internal controls and compliance processes.

What You’ll Bring

• Active Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
• 1+ years of accounting experience, preferably combining public accounting and corporate accounting environments.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements, with exposure to Ind AS, Indian GAAP.
• Understanding of financial close processes, account reconciliations with emphasis on cash activities, audit support, compliance requirements, and internal control frameworks.
• Experience using enterprise financial systems such as Workday and/or BlackLine, with strong analytical skills and proficiency leveraging technology, automation, and data‑driven insights to improve accounting operations.
