Job description

The Mobility Solutions Architect is responsible for the design, build, integrity, and quality of Mobility solutions to be delivered to Business and end users in line with architecture standards and cost expectations. He or She owns and communicates the architectural vision of the solution with which the professionals are involved with mobile systems, development platforms, Mobile Management solutions, and integrations. The Mobility Solutions Architect is a combined key for managing cellular data, equipment, and apps.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and validate the functional and technical use case specifications. Participate in requirement gathering and building roadmap with other architects, Solution Managers, and Business Domain experts.
2. Architect & design Enterprise Mobility Management solutions based on a range of foundation technologies and leading products.
3. Consults, gives advice, and supports the integration of Mobility solutions with other Infrastructure solutions and applications.
4. Baseline mobility capability, perform gap analysis and identify mobile opportunities for business.
5. Develop BYOD strategies, policies, and operationalizing enterprise mobility for customers.
6. Upon Change Supervisor request, evaluates risk & impact of standard & non-standard changes, such as introducing new major solutions functionalities, features, migrations, etc.
7. Lead or participate in architecture engagements as part of Projects or Change Requests, and produce architecture deliverables within assigned Solution scope.
8. Evaluates design approaches, makes architectural recommendations, deliver Proof of Concept Pilot outcomes.
9. Collaboration with the Information Security to ensure that solutions and services are compliant with Security Standards.
10. Ensures architecture reference is maintained as per Enterprise Architecture modeling methodology & procedures in scope.
11. Contributes to Problem Management for the Mobility Solutions.

Profile:

Technical Skills:

1. Expert knowledge required in Mobility infrastructure concepts and hands-on experience in end-to-end design and deployment of Unified Endpoint Management (UEM)/Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM)/Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (including MAM, MCM, BYOD, mobile security) like MobileIron, Intune, AirWatch, SOTI, etc.
2. Mobile OSs like Apple iOS & Apple Automated Device Enrollment (ADE), Android Enterprise, Windows, etc.

Strong knowledge on:

1. Identity & Access Management, Authentication & Authorization concepts, PKI/Certificate-based authentication.
2. Generating RFP, RFI, RFQs, HLD, LLD and other technical documents for project life cycle.

Good working knowledge of wired and wireless IP networking is desirable.
