Gainwell Technologies is seeking an SSRS Reports Developer in India (Bengaluru) for the M&O team. The role focuses on sustaining and supporting healthcare reporting systems with strong SSRS, SQL, and SSIS skills. The candidate will design, develop, test, and maintain SSRS reports, collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor peers. Remote work from within India with potential extended hours.

Qualifications

• 4–11 years of SSRS reports development experience.

SSRS Reports Developer Summary

As a SSRS Reports Developer at Gainwell, with strong Healthcare software solution expertise to join our M&O team and be the key resource for sustaining and supporting our systems at Gainwell Technologies. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams, and involves ongoing interaction with a variety of end-users and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have an acute knowledge of SSRS along with exceptional SQL skills and knowledge of SSIS while possessing 4 - 11 years of hands-on reports development experience along with various types of data repositories (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes, data marts), metadata management, dimensional modeling, and ETL / integration. This role is strictly involved in business analysis, requirements documentation, and healthcare reference data support activities and does not involve direct access to Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), or any secured or confidential client data. The work is limited to analysis of healthcare claims, reference code sets, and system configurations using governed datasets and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health or personal information.

Your role in our mission Design, develop, conducts unit testing, and maintains complex SSRS reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use. Provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation. Determine the best implementation method that will meet the design of the architect. Work with team members to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight, improve/automate processes, or otherwise add value to the team. Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations. Ensure consistency by adhering to a set of software coding and style guides. Proven experience in developing and working with SSRS Reports. Resolve support tickets related to SSRS reports, including SQL. Uses existing experience in healthcare or Medicaid to drive processes and improvements. Responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing team members. Report Development Certification is a plus.

What we're looking for

• Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
• Advanced knowledge of SSRS with strong knowledge of other reporting tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, or SSRS, for best practices in scalability, performance, content management and governance.
• Advanced understanding of SQL, relational database management system, data modeling, and normalization with an advanced knowledge understanding of data extraction mechanisms and data warehousing concepts
• Strong development skills in SSRS, data analytics and visualizations.

What you should expect in this role

• Work remotely within India - Shift time (2pm -11 pm IST)
• May be required to work extended hours for special business needs.
