Job summary

Aditya Birla Group is seeking a Deputy Manager in Mining (Limestone) to oversee excavation, transport and crushing to meet plant requirements. You will develop mine faces, haul roads and benches in line with the Mine Plan, while driving productivity and cost efficiency. Safety and statutory compliance are essential throughout shift operations.

The role focuses on coordinating overburden removal and safe equipment operation to ensure uninterrupted limestone supply for plant needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in limestone mining operations and mining safety practices.
• Ability to plan and monitor excavation, transport and crushing activities.
• Experience in developing mine faces/blocks, haul roads and benches as per Mine Plan.
• Focus on productivity, efficiency and cost optimisation in mining operations.
• Ensure safety and compliance with statutory requirements.

Job Description:

Accountability:Lime Stone Supply
To execute excavation, transporting and crushing activities for timely supply of right quality and quantity of Limestone as per the plant requirement.

Mine Development
To execute the excavation and surface mining operation to create faces/blocks, development and maintenance of haul roads and benches, as per the Mine Plan, fulfilling statutory requirements.

Productivity and efficiency
Monitor & take corrective actions in achieving productivity in mining operations and crushing to optimise mining cost.

Overburden Removal
Coordinate the removal of soil over the mine surface, as per the mining plan to make surface available for drilling and blasting.

Safety
Ensure safe operation of all the equipments in shift operations and comply statutory requirements.
