Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a SSH Key Management Engineer to secure access across Unix/Linux environments in Hyderabad. The role requires 8-10 years of experience in SSH infrastructure management and hands-on scripting.

You will automate discovery and remediation of SSH keys using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and related tools; manage key policies, certs, and IAM controls; collaborate with release and operations teams to uphold security standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Unix-based user access and SSH configuration knowledge.
• Deep SSH keys knowledge including algorithms and certs.
• Automation using Terraform, Ansible, Python.
• Familiar with release tools: GitHub, Jenkins.
• Experience with IAM RBAC and Privileged Access Management.
• Experience with Service Management tools/processes such as Service Now.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Understanding of VMware/Windows/Linux infra and networks.
• Ability to work under pressure and drive change.
• Optional: Venafi TPP knowledge; large org experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage SSH key discovery and remediation processes.
• Configure Unix/Linux user access and SSH settings.
• Create bash scripts and automation workflows.
• Collaborate with release teams using GitHub/Jenkins.
• Support IT infra including VMware, Windows, Linux, networks.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with IAM best practices.

Job Description:

• Good understanding of Unix systems User access setup, SSH config, bash scripting
• Good technical knowledge of SSH Keys, algorithms, configs, SSH certs,
• Experience of using Automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, Splunk, Postman.
• Understanding of software release management & deployment tools GitHub, Jenkins etc
• Knowledge & experience of Industry Best Practices and tools used for SSH Key discovery and remediation
• Experience and understanding of Databases Microsoft SQL
• Identity Access Management Experience RBAC, Privileged Access Management
• Experience working with Service Management tools and processes – Service Now, RFC’s etc
• Good experience of Microsoft Office – Advanced Excel skills
• Good understanding of IT Infrastructure technical platforms / technologies – VMware, Win and Linux infra, Databases, Firewalls, Networks etc
• Ability to work on occasional own initiative and under pressure
• A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
• Optional: Experience gained working in large organizations preferably in the Financial Sector.
