Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall software development experience with AI-enabled workflows.
• Strong ability to write precise specifications for code generation and validation.
• Proficiency in .NET, SQL or NoSQL databases, and API development.
• Experience with Agile or Kanban teams and end-to-end ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end by translating user outcomes into acceptance criteria.
• Develop APIs, data layers, and integrations to support AI-native workflows.
• Design and run generator-critic pipelines for AI outputs with structured critique.
• Stay current with AI tooling and adjust pipelines accordingly.

About the Role

We are seeking a SSE-.NET AI Engineer who can ownfeatures end-to-end, combining strong software engineering fundamentals withAI-native development practices. The role involves translating user outcomesinto precise specifications, driving development through AI-assisted workflows,building scalable software components, and validating solutions against definedacceptance criteria.

Key Responsibilities

Feature & Requirements Ownership

• Authorprecise feature specifications covering requirements, edge cases,constraints, and acceptance criteria before development begins.
  
• Ownfeatures end-to-end by translating user outcomes into clear acceptancecriteria.
  
• Drivedevelopment through AI-assisted workflows and validate outputs againstdefined specifications before delivery.
  
• Proactivelyidentify and flag gaps or ambiguities before development begins.
  
• Designand run generator-critic pipelines, using AI to generate outputsfollowed by structured critique against the same specification.
  
• Iterateon AI-generated outputs until defined acceptance criteria are met.
  
• Evaluateand adopt AI tools using structured reasoning and defined evaluationcriteria.
  
• Staycurrent with the evolving AI development and tooling landscape.
  

Software Development

• Buildand maintain software components including APIs, data layers, services,and integrations.
  
• Developand maintain the engineering foundation that supports AI-native workflows.
  
• Workautonomously across development, quality, and requirements whileminimising unnecessary handoffs.
  
• Ensuredisciplined specification, self-managed validation, and end-to-endownership of deliverables.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor'sdegree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technicalfield.
  
• 5+years of overall software development experience, with at least 3years of actively using AI tools as a core part of the developmentworkflow.
  
• Proficiencyin .NET, MS SQL Server or equivalent RDBMS, MongoDB or equivalentNoSQL, and API development.
  
• Strongability to write structured, machine-precise specifications that serve asground truth for both code generation and output validation.
  
• Practicalunderstanding of prompt construction, context engineering, anddiagnosing AI output failures.
  
• Workingawareness of the AI tool ecosystem, including:

• Strongwritten communication skills.
