SSC Stenographer Notification 2025: Apply for 261 Central Govt Posts

SSC Steno Notification 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification to fill Stenographer Grade C and D posts in various Ministries, Departments, and Organizations of the Central Government for the year 2025-26. Candidates with Intermediate (12th class) qualification along with a Stenography certificate are eligible to apply. The final selection will be based on a written test followed by a skill test. Under this SSC Stenographer Examination 2025 notification, a total of 261 posts will be filled.

Candidates applying for Stenographer Grade C & D posts must have passed the 12th standard from a recognized board. Additionally, they must possess stenography skills in either English or Hindi. The age of the candidates should be between 18 and 30 years as of August 1, 2025, meaning they must be born between August 2, 1995, and August 1, 2007. Eligible candidates can apply online by June 26, 2025. The application fee is ₹100 for General and OBC candidates, while SC, ST, PwD, Ex-servicemen, and female candidates are exempted from the fee. Selection will be through a written exam and skill test.
