You will lead production incident triage, design observability, and optimize Kubernetes workloads to ensure high availability and reliability across platforms.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Java/Go/Python for automation, strong Linux performance skills, and experience with Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SRE/DevOps experience in production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management.
• Hands-on Kubernetes with autoscaling, networking, and ingress.
• Proficient in Java, Go, or Python for automation.
• Experience with observability stacks (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with databases and NoSQL or caching systems.
• Experience with Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ (lag analysis).
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Helm, Ansible, GitOps, and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead production incident triage, troubleshooting, mitigation, and failover across applications, platforms, networks, and databases.
• Design and improve observability using logs, metrics, traces, and alerts to reduce MTTD and incident recurrence.
• Perform performance tuning and profiling to identify latency, CPU, memory, JVM, and I/O bottlenecks.
• Optimize Kubernetes workloads, resource utilization, autoscaling, networking, and high availability.
• Develop automation, self-healing workflows, deployment safeguards, and automated rollback mechanisms.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), post-incident reviews, and track corrective actions to closure.
• Drive SLOs, error budgets, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and proactive risk management.
• Maintain runbooks and collaborate with engineering teams to implement distributed systems reliability best practices.

Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Job Description

• Proficiency in Java, Go, or Python for automation and diagnostic tooling.
• Strong Linux/Unix internals, scripting, and performance debugging skills.
• Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and APM platforms.
• Database and SQL tuning experience, plus familiarity with NoSQL databases or caching systems.
• Experience with Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ, including lag analysis and consumer scaling.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Helm, Ansible, GitOps, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems resilience patterns, SLI/SLO frameworks, and error budgets.

Nice to Have

• AWS/Azure multi-region architecture, autoscaling, load balancing, and disaster recovery experience.
• CKA/CKAD certification.
• Experience identifying capacity risks, configuration drift, noisy alerts, and expiring certificates or secrets.
