Job summary

Bounteous in India seeks a senior SRE/Platform Lead in Gurgaon to own production reliability, incident management, escalation, and RCA-driven improvements.

You will mentor an SRE/Ops team, manage sprint work, and drive AWS-based infrastructure with Kubernetes (EKS), Jenkins CI/CD, and Terraform/Ansible automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage P1/P2 incidents, escalation, and resolution
• Drive RCA, problem management, and preventive fixes
• Improve MTTR, MTTD, system reliability
• Lead and manage SRE / Ops team
• Allocate work, run scrum/standups, track deliverables
• Mentor engineers and ensure operational discipline
• Strong experience in AWS-based environments
• Understanding of Kubernetes (EKS) and microservices architecture
• Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins mandatory)
• Experience with Terraform / CloudFormation
• Exposure to Ansible / scripting (Python/Shell)
• Understanding of infra provisioning and debugging issues
• Hands-on with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK
• Strong understanding of Alerting, SLI/SLO, dashboards
