Neev in India seeks an experienced Senior MEP BIM Specialist to lead development and coordination of BIM models for MEP systems, ensuring integration with multidisciplinary teams and compliance with international standards.

The role requires strong technical leadership, familiarity with US/UK codes, and proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Dynamo, BIM 360, HAP, and Trace 700. You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to design reviews and client engagements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in MEP BIM modeling and coordination.
• Proven track record on US/UK projects with multi-trade coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Lead creation and management of detailed 3D BIM models for MEP systems using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Coordinate between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines; conduct clash resolution.
• Oversee extraction of construction documents, shop drawings, and MEP schedules from BIM models.
• Ensure adherence to BEP, LOD standards, and project requirements.
• Perform QA/QC of models and optimize workflows including scripting with Dynamo.
• Mentor junior BIM engineers and support project teams in BIM/VDC practices.
• Engage in design reviews, coordination meetings, and client presentations.

We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP BIM Specialist who has worked extensively across Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing trades. The ideal candidate will lead the development, coordination, and management of complex BIM models for MEP systems, ensuring seamless integration with multidisciplinary teams and adherence to international standards. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of US/UK codes and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• BIM Leadership & Model Management
  • Lead the creation and management of detailed 3D BIM models for all MEP systems using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
  • Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Level of Development (LOD) standards, and project requirements.
• Coordination & Clash Resolution
  • Drive coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
  • Conduct advanced clash detection and resolve conflicts using Navisworks Manage.
• Documentation & Deliverables
  • Oversee extraction of accurate construction documents, shop drawings, and MEP schedules from BIM models.
  • Ensure adherence to US/UK standards (ASHRAE, IPC, UPC, BS Standards).
• Quality Assurance & Process Improvement
  • Perform regular model audits and implement QA/QC protocols.
  • Optimize workflows and introduce automation using Dynamo and other scripting tools.
• Technical Mentorship & Team Support
  • Provide guidance and training to junior BIM engineers.
  • Support project teams in implementing best practices for BIM and VDC processes.
• Client & Project Engagement
  • Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and client presentations.
  • Address RFIs and provide technical solutions throughout project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience:
  • Experience in MEP BIM modeling and coordination.
  • Proven track record of working on US/UK projects with multi-trade expertise.
• Software Proficiency:
  • Expert in Autodesk Revit (MEP) and Navisworks Manage.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Dynamo, and BIM 360.
  • Familiarity with design tools like HAP, Trace 700, or similar is a plus.
• Standards Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of ASHRAE, IPC, UPC, BS Standards, and other relevant codes.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior team members.
