Job summary

OpenText is hiring a Value Engineer in India to help customers realize value from OpenText technologies. You will partner with executives to translate technology investments into measurable business outcomes and develop scalable, outcome-focused demonstration use cases that drive adoption globally.

In this role you will lead executive discovery workshops, quantify business challenges and value drivers, assess AI readiness and cloud transformation, and build compelling ROI/TCO models and business

Qualifications

• Experience in consultative selling and opportunity qualification is required.
• Proven ability to manage executive relationships and plan strategic accounts.
• Ability to craft value stories and deliver executive-level presentations.
• Knowledge of digital transformation initiatives, AI readiness, and cloud modernization.
• Experience with enterprise architecture and change management is preferred.
• Demonstrated skill in demonstrating solutions and storyboarding.
• Ability to map cross-product solutions to customer challenges.
• Strong business case development and ROI/TCO modeling skills.

Your Impact

The OpenText Value Engineer is responsible for helping customers realize and validate the business value of their investments in OpenText technologies.

This role combines strategic consulting, business transformation advisory, financial modeling, executive engagement, and value realization methodologies to translate technology investments into measurable business outcomes.

As a trusted advisor, the Value Engineer partners with Account Executives, Solution Consultants, Enterprise Architects, Customer Success teams, and Business Units to identify customer challenges, quantify business value, build executive business cases, and accelerate strategic transformation. The role also develops scalable, outcome-focused demonstration use cases that showcase measurable value and enable consistent customer engagement globally.
