Job summary

Shivohm Softech Pvt Ltd in India is seeking an experienced UK Accountant with strong knowledge of UK accounting, UK GAAP, VAT, and management accounts. You will prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, and perform variance analysis. 2+ years of experience with Xero/Sage/QuickBooks and advanced Excel are required to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK Accounting and UK GAAP (FRS 102 / FRS 105).
• Good understanding of UK VAT and payroll accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
• Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
• Conduct Budget vs. Actual analysis.
• Perform MoM and YoY variance analysis; provide financial insights and management commentary.
• Coordinate VAT-related queries with clients and tax advisers.
• Support MTD VAT compliance.
