We are looking for a General Insurance (GI) team member for a back-office operation. The team member we are seeking is a passionate contributor, who will strengthen the existing partnership with a Global Insurer. The role will operate within the service remit of all regions, cutting through various life cycles of a commercial GI policy/International Business.

Responsibilities:
  1. Process and review insurance applications and documents: Ensure all database is accurate and complete.
  2. Maintain and update client records: Keep databases current with the latest information.
  3. Coordinate with underwriting and claims departments: Facilitate timely processing of applications and claims.
  4. Perform data entry tasks: Accurately input data into various systems.
  5. Assist in audits and compliance checks: Ensure all operations adhere to regulatory standards.
  6. Support report generation: Create analytics and reports for management review.
  7. Customer Interaction: Participate in customer engagement sessions.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
  1. Experience: Previous experience in insurance operations or a similar role. Exposure to international programs will have an advantage.
  2. Certification: CII/INS Certifications or equivalent PC insurance certifications preferred.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
    • Knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and procedures.

Location: Bangalore and/or Pune, Operating out of Mphasis's offices in Mahadevapura and/or CC4 (Hybrid Model).
