Job summary

Amazon in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced tech leader to drive large cross-functional initiatives that improve fulfillment experiences while reducing costs. You will lead the execution of the product roadmap, define key features, and collaborate with Product and Category Managers to shape high-level requirements.

You will guide dozens of platform teams and operations partners with a bias for fast delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional release schedules.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in execution of the product roadmap and will be actively involved in defining key product features that impact the business. You will work with Product and Category Managers at Amazon to define high level requirements and propose the solution designs. You will drive the execution excellence for critical programs that often involve dozens of platform tech teams and at times operations teams. Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
