Job summary

Aristocrat Gaming in India is seeking a Sr Technical Lead- Typescript Developer to drive full-stack game development, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of projects. You will craft, code, debug, and document games, while aligning with product roadmaps and industry-leading standards.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of full-stack experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node, strong communication, and familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Google Cloud within an Agile Scrum

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack development experience with object-oriented methods and SOLID principles.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and Node for client and server-side components.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT or related field.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and professional interaction with diverse groups.
• Experience in the iGaming sector is an advantage; mobile/web gaming exposure is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI tools, Git, and Google Cloud; familiarity with Agile Scrum is a plus.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to product development that aligns with Aristocrat’s strategic product roadmap.
• Lead the full software development lifecycle of our products including crafting, coding, debugging, and documenting games.
• Lead full-stack development involving JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.
• Mentor junior developers towards their goals.
• Collaborate on front and back-end game development initiatives.
• Code, test, and document game software to specified standards.
• Produce project and task estimates, schedules, and complete projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain and update existing games with the latest internal libraries, ensuring continuous integration practices.
• Build, implement, and maintain new slots and casino games, features, and functionalities in Aristocrat’s solutions under the Interactive products portfolio.
• Work closely with Software Architects, Product Managers, product developers, subject matter experts, and others on assigned modules.
• Perform analysis and estimation of tasks with minimal deviation.

What We’re Looking For

• Over 8 years of full-stack development experience with a solid understanding of object-oriented development methods and SOLID principles.
• Solid practical experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node for developing client and server-side components.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT or related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff.
• Experience within the iGaming sector is an advantage.
• Mobile/web gaming industry experience will be a huge plus & preferred.
• Knowledge of CI (continuous integration) related tools, working experience of GIT, Google Cloud is a must.
• Experience collaborating with product-focused companies that follow Agile Scrum approaches is a plus.
