Job summary

Embitel Technologies is seeking a senior test engineer to design and implement end-to-end ADAS testing strategies, focusing on audio/microphone validation and test automation. You will define comprehensive test architectures for real-time automotive systems and guide a team of engineers in QA practices.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive or ADAS testing, strong leadership, and experience with CI/CD, CANoe/CANalyzer, and Vector tools. Hybrid/onsite in India with VW Group collaboration.

Qualifications

The areas of work involve development of platform components such as firmware, boot loaders, AUTOSAR, Linux/QNX BSP, Service oriented architecture-based middleware components.

Job Description: Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement end-to-end testing strategies across unit, Integration and SW Test for Audio, Microphone, ADAS ADAS Function.
• Define and implement comprehensive test architecture for ADAS systems, Function.
• Enable test case creation for real‑time systems.
• Hands‑on experience in Automotive SPICE SWE.6 (Software Qualification Testing) activities.
• Experience in microphone validation for automotive applications.
• Design scalable, modular, and reusable automation frameworks.
• Expertise in Test Design, techniques, Test strategies, Plan and methods.
• Expertise in multiple domain technologies such as Audio, Microphone, ADAS.
• Proven Expertise in Debugging Tools -Lauterbach, Trace32.
• Establish standards for test automation, CI/CD integration, and vehicle/HIL /virtual testing.
• Oversee Test data management, Test Environment, simulation setup (MIL/SIL/HIL).
• Define and refine the best practices, processes, and workflows.
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers.
• Perform hands‑on testing when necessary, setting an example for the team.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes.
• Identify areas for improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in ADAS testing.
• Propose and implement innovative testing solutions.
• Will be responsible as a Right Side of the V Model, Expanding ADAS practice by building Assets, Accelerators, PoCs, etc.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in test framework development, preferably in automotive or ADAS systems.
• Expertise in Audio/Microphone Validation, test automation and verification techniques.
• Strong knowledge of Functional Safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
• Familiarity with automotive standards and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in test management tools and software.
• Experience in working with CAN, Ethernet and SOME/IP protocols.
• Experience with sensor technologies (e.g., radar, lidar, cameras) used in ADAS.
• Good working knowledge of C language, CAPL scripting & Python Scripting, Test Management Tools.
• Good experience with CI/CD(e.g.,Github Actions/Docker/Jenkins).
• Good experience with Vector Tools(e.g.,CANoe, CANanalyser), dSPACE , HIL.
