Title: Sr Technical Advisor - Instrumentation/Controls Job Title : Sr Technical Advisor - Instrumentation/Controls (Detail Engineering Chennai/Bengaluru). KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value‑added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world‑class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high‑end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets. We have opportunities with Integrated Solutions International Team which delivers high‑end engineering services including front‑end engineering design; project and program management; and engineering, procurement and construction management.

Summary Section Under broad direction, functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company. Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top‑level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies. Performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area.

Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 20 years related experience, with average experience of 25+ years.

Preferred Qualifications Education, Experience, & Skills: FEED / Detail Engineering involving Preparation and review of Specification, Data Sheets, Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation and Vendor Drawing Review of Field Instruments, Instrument Valves, Fire & Gas Detectors Exposure to AVEVA E3D / PDMS review of Instrument modelling and review of instrument design deliverables like Cable Trench Layout, Instrument Location Layout, Hook‑up drawing, Cable Block Diagrams, Cable Schedule etc Lead / Deputy Lead experience of any Oil and Gas project Experience in offshore is preferred.
