Job summary

Genpact in Mumbai seeks a Senior Tech Lead for Application Development to drive AI-enabled software and data-platform initiatives. You will design scalable services, build data pipelines, and bring production-grade Python and AWS solutions to life in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.

The role requires strong problem-solving, CI/CD expertise, and the ability to work independently in IST shift (2:00 PM–11:00 PM).

Qualifications

• Professional experience in software, data engineering, or platform engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python with production-grade development experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including query optimization and complex data transformations.
• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and practical implementation exposure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, Glue, DMS, API Gateway, OpenSearch, ECS, Kinesis) relevant to data and platform engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and flexibility to work in the 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST shift.
• Passion for R&D and continuous learning in new and emerging technologies.
• Exposure to front-end or full-stack technologies such as Angular and Node.js.
• Experience with modern data stack tools and orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with DevOps and platform reliability best practices.
