Job summary

Genpact in Bengaluru seeks a Java Developer to design and implement scalable data solutions within an Agile team. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, translate business needs into technical designs, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software.

The role requires strong Java expertise, knowledge of XML/HTML concepts, and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools. A collaborative mindset and lead-ability are valued in this hybrid, day-shift position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in computer engineering, CS or IT with software focus.
• Strong knowledge of core Java, APIs and Kafka for streaming data.
• Experience with XML/XSD, SQL databases (MySQL/DB2).
• Familiarity with IDEs (Eclipse/IntelliJ) and CI/CD tooling.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design efficient solutions.
• Contribute in an Agile team to identify, estimate, design, implement and test key technical requirements.
• Provide thought leadership on how technology can create business value and reduce risks.
