This engineer will develop embedded software running on bare metal to embedded Linux as well as higher level interface software. You will work with other software engineers and other engineering disciplines to create custom in-house semiconductor equipment from the ground up.## What You’ll Do:* **Design**: Develop new and modify existing equipment in cross-discipline design teams (software, electrical, control, and mechanical engineers). Create documentation for your designs.* **Code**: Develop in C, C++, Bash, and Python on bare metal and under RHEL compatible Linux distros in containers.* **Manufacture**: Work with New Product Introduction, Field Service and Operation teams in the manufacturing and support of equipment.* **Innovate**: Our design team is challenged with projects to keep Micron competitive in the marketplace.
