Job summary

Orange Business in India is seeking a DevOps Engineer to contribute to upstream project phases, validation strategy, and risk identification, while supporting design and delivery environments.

You will work with Dev and Ops teams to implement tools, automation, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, with exposure to Cloud (GCP/AWS). Hybrid work model is offered in a dynamic, multi-national setting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Linux and DevOps with CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with Private and Public Cloud.
• Knowledge of integration techniques and scripting (Shell/Perl/Python).
• Automation and configuration management tools: Ansible, Terraform and GitLab CI.
• Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes; exposure to GCP/AWS is a plus.
• Public cloud certification is advantageous.
• Can-do attitude with willingness to innovate.

Responsibilities

About The Role

Prepare projects: participate in the upstream phase of the project, participate in the validation integration strategy, and identify the risks.

Strategize and design: evaluate and design the upcoming deliverables and strategize the plan and help DevOps engineers in technical as well as design requirements.

Implement (install, develop, automate, document) these new delivery environment and tune existing deliverables and industrialize the components

Assist the Dev (development) & Ops (Operations) teams in the implementation and appropriation of the proposed tools and methods.

About You

Strong knowledge of the Linux and DevOps, CI/CD

Strong working experience of Private and Public Cloud

Strong Knowledge of integration techniques (System and network configuration) and scripting (Shell/Perl/Python)

Automation and configuration management tools : Ansible, Terraform and Gitlab CI

Good command on containerization using Docker and Kubernetes

Good to have working experience on GCP/AWS

Optional : Knowledge BigQuery and Vertex AI would be a plus

Optional : Public cloud certification
