Job summary

Deutsche Bahn (DB Group) seeks a Senior Structures Engineer- Stations for the Mumbai Metro Project. The role focuses on reviewing detailed design, constructing elevated structures, and ensuring compliance with Indian regulations and project standards.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering with 12+ years in large infrastructure or rail projects, and experience in station structures and construction drawings. On-site Mumbai work and coordination with D&B contractors are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience: 12+ years in infrastructure/railways/metro projects.
• Experience in large infrastructure/railways/metro rail projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Review and proof check of detailed and construction designs.
• Design and review all elevated structures for the project.
• Proof checking of designs and review of detailed designs and construction drawings.
• Develop preliminary structural designs and detailing of structural members.
• Ensure construction methodologies used by D&B contractors follow approved systems.
• Ensure contractors comply with Indian laws and safety regulations.
• Review construction/implementation schedules and design configurations.
• Ensure work aligns with Good for Construction drawings and reporting to PD and Dy. TL.

We are seeking a Senior structures Engineer- Stations for our Mumbai Metro Project.

Responsibilities

• Review & proof checking of the detailed design and construction design.
• Designing and reviewing all the elevated structures involved in the project.
• Proof checking of designs, Review of detailed design and construction drawings.
• Develop preliminary structural designs and dimensional details of structural members.
• Ensure that methodology for construction being used by D&B contractors is in accordance with approved systems and procedures.
• Ensure that D&B contractor is following the rules and regulations under Indian Laws with respect to his workmen.
• Review of construction /Implementation Schedule, Review of the detailed designs configuration.
• Ensure that the work is executed by D&B contractor in accordance with 'Good for Construction drawings.
• Submit periodic reports, as specified, to PD and Dy. TL concerned.
