Job summary

DataDirect Networks (DDN.com) is seeking an experienced Development Engineer in India to design and develop features for high-performance storage platforms. You will maintain existing software, analyze bugs, and collaborate with distributed teams to meet product requirements.

You will contribute to technical documentation and validation, while optimizing performance for varied deployment environments. Strong Linux/C expertise and a collaborative mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/CE or related field
• 12+ years of software development experience in C on Linux
• 3+ years in enterprise storage, HPC, or distributed systems
• Strong problem-solving and independent work
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Lustre familiarity is a plus
• Linux networking, kernel VFS, IO subsystems, Ext4 preferred
• Git/JIRA/Jenkins/Gerrit/GitHub experience is a plus

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Parallel File Systems, especially Lustre, is a plus.
• Experience with Linux networking, kernel VFS, IO subsystems, and Ext4 file system is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Gerrit, and GitHub is a plus.
