AT&T in Hyderabad, India invites a senior backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable services using Python and Flask. You will build and consume APIs for internal and external systems, and deliver cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure with a focus on security, performance, and governance.

The role requires strong PostgreSQL, Redis, and Polars experience, plus API integration, HTML/CSS/JSON skills, and CI/CD contributions.

Qualifications

• Strong programming experience in Python (6+ yrs).
• Hands-on Flask framework experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• Strong SQL development skills with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Redis caching and session management.
• Experience with Polars or similar data processing (Pandas, PySpark).
• API development and integration experience.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JSON.
• Git-based source control and collaborative development.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents.
• Playwright for automated web testing.

Key Responsibilities

Required Technical Skills

Must Have
